Max during the past years has been leading some of IOM’s most important and innovative project work related to ethical recruitment and labour mobility. He was previously posted with IOM in Geneva, Dhaka, Phnom Penh and is currently with IOM Hanoi. Recently, Max has been coordinating IOM’s labour supply chain mapping initiatives to support companies in enhancing transparency and the implementation of ethical recruitment. This informs the development of the International Recruitment Integrity System (IRIS), a voluntary, multi-stakeholder certification system for labour recruiters. Max holds a MBA in Transnational Social Processes from the University of Bamberg, Germany.
